EXCLUSIVE BOOKING TERMS & CONDITIONS
When you engage Meadowlark Consulting to perform an Exclusive Booking/VIP Design Day Intensive work in a freelance capacity, you will be required to accept the Exclusive Booking Terms & Conditions.
This agreement between Meadowlark Consulting, and You, the authorized representative of “The Client,” is for work commencing in the capacity of Freelance Digital Designer, Web Designer, Digital Producer, or Graphic Designer. During this Exclusive Booking (also known as VIP Design Day Intensive), Meadowlark Consulting agrees to devote 8 hours (4 hours for a half day) on assignments to be determined by The Client, as well as a 60-minute (30-minute for a half day) pre-intensive strategy call, and 30 days of post-intensive email and messaging support.
Exclusive Bookings ensure dedicated time will be blocked out to work for The Client without interruption.
Exclusive Booking Fees, Cancellations, and Rescheduling
Work will be performed at the offices of Meadowlark Consulting, but occasionally may take place at other locations, as required. Work priority and scheduling will be at the discretion of The Client. Work will normally occur between the hours of 7am – 4pm PST on weekdays. Payment for these services will be to Meadowlark Consulting at the rate of $3000 for a full day ($1500 for half day) and 50% will be due at the time of booking the appointment. The second 50% is due 24 hours before the day of the Exclusive Booking (full payment due at time of booking for half day).
Any expenses exclusive of normal overhead are not included in this agreement and will be billed separately. Examples of such expenses are: domain name, website hosting, stock images, premium font licenses, and 3rd party application services.
The results of any and all work performed by Meadowlark Consulting for the Client, including original creative work, will remain the property of The Client. The Client may use this material in any way deemed appropriate.
As a bonus to the all-day Exclusive Booking, you will also receive 30 days of support, starting the day after the Intensive. You will be able to email or message me with any questions or concerns you have about the work that was performed during our Exclusive Booking, and you will receive a reply via email, message, or video tutorials. This support does not cover additional design or website work that exceeds what was done in our day together.
If you have additional work that needs to be performed, you will have the option to book another day or a half-day Exclusive Booking.
Once The Client has made an Exclusive Booking for a specific time and date, Meadowlark Consulting will not accept any other work from other companies for those times and dates.
Cancellations: When The Client cancels a booking within two weeks of any confirmed date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the full rate of the Exclusive Booking will be charged and The Client will be refunded the remaining balance of fees already paid. When The Client cancels less than 24 hours of an Exclusive Booking, The Client will not be refunded.
Reschedule: If you need to reschedule you may transfer your Exclusive Booking to another date or service with 7-days prior written notice. Your purchase is valid for 90 days, and must be used within that timeframe. When The Client reschedules the Exclusive Booking for any reason (including needing more time to provide Meadowlark Consulting with any information needed to complete the project) within 7 days of any confirmed date, a rescheduling fee of 50% of the Exclusive Booking will be charged. When The Client reschedules within 24 hours of an Exclusive Booking, a fee of 100% of the full rate will be charged.
NATURE OF EXCLUSIVE BOOKING: The Client understands that an Exclusive Booking is the purchase of a block of time on Meadowlark Consulting’s schedule. While all reasonable care will be taken to ensure work requested by The Client is completed to the highest achievable standard during the timeframe of the Exclusive Booking, full completion of any tasks agreed to by Meadowlark Consulting during the Exclusive Booking is not guaranteed.
